The team at Te Anau Events have created many working relationships within the local community and love watching an event develop from a concept through to a finished idea.

A connected community who welcome visitors to build shared memories together.

The role of Te Anau Events is to organise and support events that bring people together in Fiordland, to generate economic, social and community benefits that enrich our region.

Our Team

The Te Anau Community Events Charitable Trust Board is a group of seven passionate locals who bring together a wide range of experience and relationships with businesses, sporting groups, associations and community services.

These seven Trustees oversee the governance of Te Anau Events through attending bi-monthly Board meetings, major event committee meetings, liaising with funding partners and suppliers as required, and often volunteer on the day of an event.

The day-to-day operation of the Te Anau Events is undertaken by two part time employed staff members:

Te Anau Events Manager (since inception) & Te Anau Events Coordinator
